January 14th, 2005

The Johnny Ramone statue was unveiled at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. Eddie Vedder, Rob Zombie, Pete Yorn, John Frusciante, Anthony Kiedis and Nicolas Cage were some of the people who attended. You can read Rolling Stone's coverage of the event HERE.

January 12th, 1984

The Morning Call published an article titled "Recovered From Injuries, Ramones Back On The Road". The article covered the band returning to the road for the first time since August of 1983 after Joey was hospitalized with a foot infection and Johnny survived a near-fatal head injury.
