Bruce Springsteen's song
"Hungry Heart" was released as a single. Joey Ramone had met Springsteen earlier that year and asked him to write a song for the Ramones. "Hungry Heart" was the result but Springsteen's manager convinced him to keep it for himself. That decision paid off as the song ended up reaching #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and would be his biggest hit until "Dancing in the Dark" was released in 1984.
